The Sogwipo Cloisonne Arts and Crafts was established in Oct. 2002 with 4 members. It originated from The Sogwipo Society for Cloisonne Arts and Crafts. Silver Cloisonne arts are well developed traditional Korean craft technique being called seven precious stone of gold, silver, lapis, agate, crystal, coral and pearl involve delicate and elaboirate craftsmanship. These accessories have subtle and elegant color combinations that result from the process where the metals and glaze are heated to temperatures of 700~800 degrees. The accessories are attached to keyrings and cellphone strings and add beauty to them. They are all handmade and can be custom crafted or produced to order as well. - Awarded Grand Prize at the Jeju-do industrial art competition- Selected as new knowledge patent by Korean intellectual Property Office(KIPO)- Awqrded "Illustrious Man of Jeju" by Jeju Provincial Government- Awarded special prize from Jeju Chamber of Commerce and Industry- Acquisition of certification of "export Promoting Small & Medium Commpany by Gwangju & Jeonnam Small & Medium Business Administration
